Winter Gardening is Possible With the Tower Garden!

Being an avid gardener, it always saddens me when autumn comes and I have to start clearing the greenhouse and garden. But, I recently discovered a fantastic new growing device that allows me to garden indoors, in the winter!
Its called a Tower Garden, and it’s a state-of-the-art vertical aeroponic growing system. It simplifies traditional gardening, using a unique vertical garden system that makes it easy to grow your own fresh fruit and vegetables. The most important part is you get access to fresh fruits and vegetables year-round with the Tower Garden.
Made with food grade plasticÂ
- Has a double UV protective coating
- Uses less than 10% of the water of a conventional garden
- Includes all the tools and supplies
- Fewer ground pest problems
- Grow a garden in half the time of a traditional garden
- Uses no harmful fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides
- No dirt = no weeding!
- Vine-ripened produce is proven more nutritious
- Indoor grow lightsÂ
The tower requires very little maintenance and the plants grow like crazy. They say it grows 30% faster than traditional growing methods but I’ve personally seen even faster growth! I have access to the freshest lettuce, herbs and greens for the meals I create, and because these are picked when ripe, they are much more nutrient dense. No more brown, wilted lettuce sitting in the fridge needing to be thrown away.
Winter Gardening
I was initially going to put the Tower in the basement, thinking I may not have enough space upstairs, but I quickly realized that since it only takes up 3 feet in diameter of space, that behind my couch, in the living room was the best location. I also decided to buy the extended tower to grow 28 plants (the base model comes with 20 ports for 20 plants), and since I wanted to grow indoors, I opted for the grow lights as well. I couldn’t be happier with my decision! It proudly sits next to a large window and receives direct sunlight, as well as light from the grow lights.
I did end up putting the tower outside this summer for pollination purposes but because you don’t have control over the environment as you do inside (pests, wind, rain), the plants grew a bit slower (even though they still grew faster than in my garden).
Either way, the tower is indoors again and the plants are flourishing! This time around I planted smaller plants like strawberries, herbs, lettuces, etc., but I did decide to add one cucumber plant…just for fun! My teenage boys pick lettuce for their lunches almost every day, I use the fresh herbs in sauces, pestos and dressings, and my fiance makes smoothies for us with the kale & spinach every morning.
If you have a green thumb and are crazy about growing fresh produce year round, this is the system for you!
